The monograph functions as an object, a black box that aims to represent a vast universe of art in one small space. Materiality and haptics play as important a role in the execution as the dramaturgical arrangement of the images and the carefully set text. Nonetheless, the design takes a back seat and allows the magnificent work to take precedence.
